Vietnam’s women win first prize at International volleyball tournament

The host Vietnam team 3 on October 3 beat Chinese Taipei to become the champions at the International Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament held in Vung Tau city, the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

The three-day tournament drew the participation of ten women volley teams from six countries and territories, including Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Vietnam.

This year’s tournament is co-organised by the Asian Volleyball Federation, the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Tourism Joint Stock Company and the Tan Binh Import Export Joint Stock Company.(VNA)
