Vietnam-Japan supporting industrial zone kicked off

Nhan Dan - Kinh Bac Urban Development Share Holding Corporation (KBC) organised the ground-breaking ceremony to build the Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industrial Zone No.1 in Bac Ninh province on April 27.

This industrial zone is one of the co-operation programmes between Japanese and Vietnamese Governments in order to attract more investment from Japan to Vietnam.

The supporting industrial zone covers an area of 16 hectares in the Que Vo 2 industrial zone.

The Japanese counterpart pledged to call on 50 small-scale Japanese enterprises with the estimated investment capital of over US$100 million to operate in the supporting industrial zone.

Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and the representatives of ministries, sectors and localities attended the ceremony.
