PM sends letter to business community

Nhan Dan – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung sent a letter to the Vietnamese business community on the occasion of the Vietnam Trademark Day which falls today, April 20. Following is the Prime Minister’s letter.

The Vietnam National Trademark Programme is implemented in order to build an image of Vietnam as a country having products of high quality and competitiveness, winning a solid prestige on the domestic and international markets.

Therefore, the government has selected April 20 as the “Vietnam Trademark Day.”

The Vietnam National Trademark Programme has attracted wide participation of the business community, providing businesses with necessary knowledge in their efforts to build their trademarks, supporting them with legal conditions to register and protect their trademarks.

As a result, initially, certain Vietnamese products and services have had their own position on the domestic and international markets and have been fond sought after by consumers.

I wish that each sector, each enterprise, each businessman has to have practical and regular activities to build their trademarks as well as the national trademarks, maintaining the value of quality, prestige and competitiveness of Vietnamese products and services.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Vietnam Trademark Day, I wish enterprises and businessmen greater achievements in their production, trading and international economic integrationi, contributing to national development.
