ADB grants a US$25 million loan to support SMEs

Nhan Dan – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided a loan of US$25 million to the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial joint-stock Bank (Sacombank) with 6-year duration, according to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).

The loan is to support and assist Vietnam’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to gain access to indispensable credit including finance leasing.

The lending agreement between ADB and Sacombank was signed at the ADB’s 42nd annual meeting in Bali, Indonesia on May 4.
