The climate is generally hot and humid. The temperature is
from 180c (Nov to Jan) and 370c (April to June).
The hottest month is April and the coldest is December.
Two main seasons: rainy and dry seasons.
Rainy season: from June to December
Dry season: from January to May
Office hours: Government offices are open from 8.00 a.m. to 17.00 p.m (a
one-hour lunch break) from Monday to Friday.
Banks: Banks are open from 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. to 15:30p.m. Banks are closed on
Saturday (local banks are still working in Saturday morning) and
Sundays.
Shops are open from 8:00 or 8:30 a.m. to 21:00 or 22:00 p.m (including
Saturdays and Sundays)
Public Holidays: Saturday and Sunday are holidays. There are also 8 other
holidays in a year
Vietnam Lunar New Year (Tet Nguyen Dan) : four day holiday. January 1 (New
Year's Day): one day holiday. April 30 (Saigon Liberation Day): one day
holiday. May 1 (International Labour Day): one day holiday. September 2
(National Day, Vietnam day): one day holiday.
