Township nature and functions:

Thu Thiem new township is Ho Chi Minh City?s new and modern center of trade, finance, service, tourism, trade fair & exhibition, administrative, culture, greeneries and residence.  It links and grows in harmony with the existing downtown area via the symmetrical axis of the Sai Gon river landscape.  Together with the existing downtown area, it will complete the development of the city?s center.
